Ask five agencies what healthcare marketing costs and you will get five numbers—because each one is pricing a different scope. This guide breaks a budget into its parts so you can compare quotes properly.

The four parts of every healthcare marketing budget

  1. The professional fee. What you pay an agency, freelancer or in-house person to plan, create and manage the work.
  2. Ad spend. What you pay Google or Meta for clicks and impressions. This should always be separate and in your name.
  3. Taxes. 18% GST on the professional fee.
  4. One-time costs. A website, landing pages, a photo or video shoot, printed material and software such as call tracking.

When a quote is one lump sum, ask for it split into these four lines. It is the fastest way to see what you are really buying.

What HealthBrandX charges

| Package | Monthly fee | Best for |

| --- | --- | --- |

| Doctor Package | ₹15,000 | Individual doctors and consultants |

| Clinic Package | ₹30,000 | Clinics, polyclinics, dental, IVF, skin and diagnostic centres |

| Hospital Package | from ₹75,000 | Multi-speciality and speciality hospitals |

All fees exclude GST and ad spend. Every package has a minimum of three months and then runs month to month. See the full scope on the pricing page.

How much ad spend do you need?

It depends on your city, speciality and how many people search for it. As a working starting point:

  • Individual doctors: usually no paid ads. Self-promotional advertising by individual doctors is restricted under the IMC Regulations, 2002, so the budget goes into a complete Google profile, a doctor page and reviews.
  • Single-location clinics: many can test Google Search ads with ₹15,000–₹30,000 a month in ad spend.
  • Hospitals: budgets depend on the number of departments promoted and are set after an audit of search volume in your city.

Jaipur and competitive specialities such as IVF, orthopaedics and dental implants usually need more than smaller cities for the same result.

One-time costs to plan for

  • Website: a clinic website with up to 10 pages starts around ₹25,000 with HealthBrandX; a multi-department hospital website is quoted after scoping. See what a hospital website must include.
  • Photography: real photos of your doctors, reception and facilities build more trust than stock images.
  • Tracking: call tracking and WhatsApp tracking tools are billed by the provider, in your name.

What cheap marketing usually leaves out

A low monthly fee often means one of these is missing: approval by your clinicians, compliance checks, reporting on enquiries rather than likes, or ownership of your accounts. Before you sign, ask:

  • Who owns the Google Ads, Meta and Google Business Profile accounts?
  • What exactly is delivered each month—how many posts, pages and reports?
  • How will you report calls, WhatsApp chats and appointments?
  • Who checks claims against the IMC 2002 rules and the ASCI code?

Frequently asked questions

How much should a small clinic spend on marketing each month?

Start with the basics that cost little: an accurate Google Business Profile, a simple website with service pages, and a review process. Add paid ads only when those work. With an agency, a clinic budget usually covers a monthly fee plus a separate ad budget you control.

Is ad spend included in the agency fee?

It should not be. Ad spend should be paid by you directly to Google or Meta from an account in your name, so you can see every rupee. HealthBrandX never marks up ad spend.

Do I pay GST on healthcare marketing services?

Yes. Marketing services attract 18% GST on the professional fee. Ad spend is billed by Google or Meta with their own tax treatment.
